HOW TO BUY CUT DIAMONDS

  1. Become a potential shareholder or a shareholder and get shares at no cost to you in our unlisted public diamond mining company, Option 1, and receive dividends.

  2. Once you purchase your first polished diamonds from Optimal Diamonds Limited, you will qualify as a potential shareholder. On reaching the 20% discount level according to the discount table, you will automatically qualify, at no cost to you, to become a shareholder in our unlisted public diamond mining company, Option 1. You will then be able to buy polished diamonds at any time, up to 50% discount, starting from the day you became a shareholder.

  3. An Offer containing a list of the available polished diamonds for sale, each with a copy of their original certificate issued by an internationally recognised grading institution such as EGL, as well as the individual price for each of these polished diamonds, will be faxed or e-mailed to each potential shareholder or shareholder on a regular basis.

  4. As a potential shareholder or shareholder of our unlisted public diamond mining company, Option 1, you are entitled to purchase polished diamonds as many times as you wish, based on the availability of the polished diamonds.

  5. Once you have subscribed through the surprise menu we will send you
    a list of available polished diamonds via e-mail.

  6. Once you have received the list of available polished diamonds, the following steps will apply:

    1. E-mail us indicating which number/s as well as the international grading certificate number/s and the carat weight/s as indicated on the list of available polished diamonds of the polished diamonds that you are interested in purchasing.
    2. Print out the Order Form as per diamond purchase.
    3. Complete Personal Information and (A) Commitment to Purchase in block letters including signature and date, using black ink.
    4. Please write your identity number on the diamond grading certificate and on the price list for the polished diamond that you commit yourself to purchasing. Sign both the diamond grading certificate and the price list.
    5. Fax the completed Order Form, signed diamond grading certificate and price list within three working days of receipt of the diamond grading certificate and price list to: +27 16 423 4547.

    By sending us the completed Order Form, you commit yourself to the purchase of the particular polished diamond(s) you have chosen.



  7. We will consider the first completed Order Form that you return in response to each purchase to be a valid commitment to purchase the polished diamond(s) and you will be advised of our acknowledgement of receipt of your Order Forms. Forms received thereafter will not be considered a commitment. Each potential shareholder or shareholder who sends us a valid Order Form, will be advised whether or not the order has been successful, and (in the case of an unsuccessful order) the position in which the potential shareholder or shareholder has been placed on the waiting list.

  8. If your Order Form is the first to be received, we will review it and complete the (B) Confirmation of Purchase section. We will then fax this completed form back to you within three working days.

  9. At the same time, you will also receive a Trust Guarantee 7383/05 for the stated purchase price in US dollars. This undertaking by the Trust is a guarantee to the purchaser that all monies paid by him/her for the polished diamond, will be returned within 30 working days, provided that the following conditions apply:

    1. The original certificate issued by an internationally recognised grading institution, such as EGL is not present, or does not match that of the copy received with the original purchase, or
    2. The polished diamond certificate number or polished diamond registration number indicated on the original certificate does not match the polished diamond certificate number or polished diamond registration number supplied in the sealed tube containing the polished diamond, or
    3. A polished diamond is missing, or
    4. The seal around the polished diamond is damaged or broken.

    Each purchased polished diamond will have its own Trust Guarantee 7383/05 in US dollars for the full purchase price.

  10. It is important to note that no deposit for polished diamonds should be made until the following documents are in your possession:

    1. (B) Confirmation of Purchase
    2. Trust Guarantee 7383/05


    Once you have received the abovementioned documents, your payment for the polished diamond(s) must be made within three working days into Trust Gaurantee 7383/05 bank account. (See bank details on Order Form.)

  11. Payment should be made via a SWIFT account in US$ and the deposit slip showing the polished diamond certificate number or polished diamond registration number as a reference should be faxed to us at +27 16 423 4547, as proof of payment.

  12. Once we receive the transferred funds and the proof of payment, along with confirmation from our Bank that the transferred funds have been received in the trust guarantee 7383/05 account, a representative of our company will contact you by fax or e-mail to confirm the destination of the shipment. The transportation companies that we use will deliver to all major cities worldwide, free of charge to you. You can then expect the polished diamond(s) to be delivered within seven working days by an internationally recognised transportation company, such as Brinks Inc.

  1. Upon the arrival of the parcel, you will be contacted and asked to take delivery of the parcel in person and present your identification. You will also have to sign a form confirming:
    1. receipt of the original certificate issued by an internationally recognised grading institution, such as EGL, matches the copy of the certificate you received with the original purchase;
    2. receipt of a sealed tube containing the polished diamond;
    3. that the polished diamond certificate number or polished diamond registration number indicated on the original certificate matches that of the polished diamond certificate number or polished diamond registration number supplied in the sealed tube containing the polished diamond; and
    4. that the seal on the tube containing the polished diamond is not damaged or broken.

An employee of the transportation company will also sign this form. Signing by both parties will immediately release Optimal Diamonds Limited trading as Diamond Hill from any liability.

  1. Shipment will take place on each Friday, or on the following business day, should a Friday fall on a South African public holiday.

  2. If the payment for the purchase of the polished diamonds is not received within three working days, the purchase will become null and void, without any compensation to either party.

  3. PLEASE NOTE: When you purchase a polished diamond from Optimal Diamonds Limited trading as Diamond Hill you are assured that it is from a legitimate source not involved in funding conflict, and in compliance with United Nations' resolutions. Optimal Diamonds Limited trading as Diamond Hill guarantees that its polished diamonds are conflict-free, and that this assurance is based on personal knowledge and/or written guarantees provided.
